Lea's life began as the daughter of an army officer in Augusta, Georgia which soon lead her family to places such as Heidelberg, Germany, Washington D.C and 5 other cities before Lea even attended the 7th grade.  She florished amoung the vast array of culture in which she was exposed and the fact that her mother was a fine pianist also exposed her to the great world of classical music.   Lea began her formal studies at the Pinellas County Center for the Arts in St. Petersburg, Florida upon entering high school.  She developed quickly and was soon on her way to Manhattan School of Music were she finished her academic studies.

Lea has since found a home in Atlanta, Georgia with her husband Todd and their boston terrier, Prissy Mae.  Lea enjoys working in her flower garden, owning her own real estate brokerage, watching "The Tudors" and attending her husband's band's performances.

Since embarking on this voyage of an operatic career, Lea has had the opportunity to sing the following repertoire: Norina in Don Pasquale, Violetta in La Traviata, Musetta
in La Boheme, Adele in Die Fledermaus, Monica in The Medium, Queen of the Night , Papagena & The First Lady in Die Zauberflöte, Josephine in H.M.S. Pinafore, Mabel in The Pirates of Penzance, Lisa in The Land of Smiles and Casilda in the Gondoliers.

Lea has been the soprano soloist in oratorio works by such composers as Handel, Faure, Hadyn, Bach, Mendelssohn, Rutter and Brahms in performances with the Jacksonville Symphony and with members of the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra.
